Michele Walther (Violin and Live Looping) and Mark Galvan (Dance) will perform music by Corelli, Bach, and originals, paired with expressive Japanese Butoh dance theater. Live looping works like a "one-woman-orchestra", with Michele playing multiple parts at the same time.
Paintings from the art exhibition will become part of the evocative music and dance performance, with the theme of Darkness and Light - The Cycle of Life.
This performance at Minnesota Street Project is a presentation of music, dance, painting and poetry, held in conjunction with ROUNDCOLLAB's debut exhibition "Embrace" featuring eleven artists from Asia, where their artworks address and embrace the imperfect world we live in.
Guests are invited to attend a post-show exhibition tour of "Embrace" at the Minnesota Street Project Atrium and Gallery 211.
