OPEN CALL INFORMATION
Who: This is an Open Call for LGBTQ+ artists of Asian American, Native Hawai'ian, and Pacific Islander descent, and is also open to LGBTQ+ artists of Asian descent worldwide to participate in an exhibition in California celebrating Queer Asian Pride in conjunction with the AANHPI Heritage and Pride months in May to June 2024 and beyond.
What: Physical Artworks including paintings, drawings, works on paper, sculptures, installations, textiles/ fiber arts, video/ new media. Please note we are only accepting physical artworks and video/new media works at this time.
Where: San Francisco LGBT Center, DTLA Proud and/or online
How: Selected artists will be offered the opportunity to participate in this physical exhibition with selected artists being responsible for mailing their physical piece to California for display.
When: Throughout May and June 2024 or longer, during Asian American, Native Hawai’ian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) Heritage and LGBTQIA+ Pride months
This is an Open Call for LGBTQ artists of Asian descent worldwide to participate in an exhibition in California celebrating Queer Asian Pride in conjunction with the AANHPI Heritage and Pride months in May to June 2024 and beyond.
Artists must be able to submit their physical works to San Francisco and/or Los Angeles, California if they have been selected for exhibition. The works will be made available for sale.
